Gordon Hill...

...entered the world on January 1, 1938, grew up in small towns before launching a varied career, first in the Air Force (ours) as student, instructor and technician, on to engineering student, engineer, salesman, product manager, then thirteen years as a professional seminar developer/presenter.

Retiring in 2001, he moved to Las Cruces, NM, in 2006 to live out Stage Six – Elder– helping where he could: as a volunteer at the Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument, the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum and more. 

According to the Stages of Living model he is now entering Stage Seven – Enthusiast – one whose love of life to date prompts the encouragement of others to find their better way, whatever it may be. 

Being freed from earlier distractions (like making a living) he can pursue this quest until the next.

...came into being because Patricia Fripp, a past president of the National Speakers Association, one of the best speakers I know and a speaking buddy, told me to share my wisdom.  (I thought she knew me better than that.)  Not one to argue with genius, I hereby offer clues to consider, not directions to follow; evidence to weigh, not formulaic solutions.

Living and Speaking have been my the focus of my life.  Living because that's what life is about – and yes, I have forgotten at times – plus speaking as it has been my primary task of tasks since 1957.

Wisdom: Possessing knowledge, experience and good judgment.  I offer the first two as best I can and leave good judgement to you.  Go for it!
